Day 13 Oppression

Day 13 Oppression

Prophet Muhammad was both an oppressed and an oppressor. This became a spiritual legacy passed on in the Muslim faith.

Islam is a religion of honor and strictness. They believe that not believing in Islam and not following the rules of Islam is shameful and must be punished. Therefore, the use of force to persecute those who do not believe or obey Islamic law is essential to preserving the dignity of Islam.

Muslims cannot convert to other religions. If they do, they must die. (Quran 4:89) Having someone come to “convert” them is seen as persecution, which they gladly accept for Allah's sake. It is considered a test from Him.

Muslims are given little freedom of thought and autonomy in their lives. With this strictness, it is not easy for Muslims to follow Jesus. Even if they know that Jesus is the right way, they face persecution both by their families and by those around them.

God says, “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:10

Prayer Request

Pray for deliverance for those who are suffering from physical and mental oppression. Pray that they be saved and set free in Jesus Christ, and that every Muslim's eyes be opened to the truth that Jesus is God.
